Red Raider Hockey – Coaching Positions
 
Red Raider Hockey is seeking qualified candidates for multiple coaching positions within the program for the 2010-2011 season. Red Raider hockey is a highly competitive Tier 1 split-season midget program from Buffalo, NY.
 
Positions Available:
Three (3) Head Coaching positions: U18, U16 and Select
One (1) Goalie Coaching position
One (1) Strength and Conditioning Coaching position
 
Responsibilities Include: planning and implementing all facets of coaching a competitive AAA Midget hockey program including; attending on ice practices; attending off ice practices; attending all home and away games; development of the student-athlete; game preparation; practice planning; scheduling; video breakdown; travel planning; management; and other duties as assigned by the Red Raider Hockey Director.  
 
Minimum Qualifications: knowledge of USA Hockey regulations; strong commitment to the academic goals of the program; excellent organizational, communication and public relations skills; ice hockey coaching and/or playing experience;  
 
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; and collegiate coaching and/or playing experience. Certified Level 4 or above USA hockey coaching education.  
Positions begin March 1st 2010.
 
Compensation: based on past experience and qualifications.
